There are at least seven different ways you can take a screenshot with Windows. It's a basic one, but it's amazing how easy it is to forget how to take a screenshot on your laptop or desktop when you don't do it often. You can access it two different ways, either by pressing the Windows key + X, or right-click the Windows icon/Start button.
